How it works

Connect it in three steps

  1. Step 1

    Add Chirpy to your AI app

    Add a custom connector (some apps call it an MCP server) named Chirpy, with this address: https://mcp.chirpy.me/mcp

  2. Step 2

    Sign in to Chirpy

    A Chirpy window opens. Sign in with your Chirpy account. There's no API key to copy.

  3. Step 3

    Choose what it can do

    Pick Read only, Read and create, or Full access, then select Allow. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings > Developers.

What you can ask

Ask in plain words. Your AI app picks the right Chirpy action.

  • “Look at how my posts did last month, then plan next week and save the posts as drafts in Chirpy.”
  • “Turn this article into a LinkedIn post and an Instagram caption in my brand's voice, and save both in Chirpy.”
  • “Make an image for Friday's special and schedule it on Instagram and Facebook for 5pm.”
  • “Check my Chirpy inbox and draft replies to today's comments.”

You stay in charge

When you connect, you choose what the app can do. See or disconnect your apps at any time in Settings > Developers.

Read only
It can look at your accounts, posts, Brand Kits and results. It changes nothing.
Read and create
It can also make drafts, images and videos in Chirpy. Nothing is published.
Full access
It can also schedule, publish and reply. Every action that publishes is marked, so your AI app can ask you first.

The Chirpy REST API

Call the same actions from your own code, scripts and automation with an API key. Every action is a POST to https://chirpy.me/api/v1/{action}. The MCP server and the API share the same actions, access levels and daily limits.

No. You sign in with your Chirpy account when the app asks, and choose what it can do. API keys are for your own code and tools, on Max and Teams.

Only if you give it Full access. With Read only or Read and create, nothing is published. With Full access, every action that publishes is marked so your AI app can ask you first, and you can disconnect any app at any time in Settings > Developers.

Connecting AI apps is included on Advanced, Max and Teams. API keys for the REST API come with Max and Teams. There's no extra fee, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
